Parker Barrow is a new band in the blues and southern rock genre, formed by the couple Dylan Turner (drums) and lead vocalist Megan Kane together with musical director and guitarist Alex Bender and named after the infamous American bank robbers from the 1930s, Bonnie & Clyde, whose surnames were Parker & Barrow. The band is a powerhouse 6-piece, completed by Will Tipton (guitar), Kyle Priber (bass) and Eric Safka (keyboards), that is playin’ vintage shop rock as they call it.

Their debut album, ‘Hold The Mash’, sound sometimes very ‘stonesy’, like in Blinded and Make It, but moreover like Lynyrd Skynyrd, like in Nothing Left To Save, Novocaine, Glass Eyes Cryin’, the semi-acoustic Ruby’s Reckoning and the epic closer My Morning Song. Highlight of the album is the semi-acoustic ballad Olivia Lane. All songs are being played by a very tight band with Alex Bender and Megan Kane as the key factors.
