Ian Noe introduces a fictional Kentucky group on the sixteen-song double album ‘Canyon Falls Trailer Band’. Kentucky singer-songwriter Ian Noe will release his third studio album, ‘Canyon Falls Trailer Band’, on September 25, 2026 via Lock13 Records, with marketing and distribution handled by Thirty Tigers.
The album follows a fictional band performing a one-night showcase in the hope of attracting attention from the music industry. This setting connects sixteen songs shaped by country, folk-rock and American roots music, while leaving the outcome of the group’s ambitions unresolved.
Noe recorded the album with longtime collaborator Andrija Tokić at The Bomb Shelter in Nashville. Most of the basic tracks were captured live during an intensive recording week, followed by additional overdubs and mixing.
Charlie McCoy contributes harmonica, Billy Contreras plays fiddle and Russ Pahl adds pedal steel. The first single, The Heidelberg Fisherman’s Ball, offered an initial introduction to the fictional band and the narrative surrounding the album.
It has now been followed by Leeann, the second single from ‘Canyon Falls Trailer Band’. Both songs provide an early glimpse of the different characters and musical settings that shape Noe’s sixteen-song concept album.
