Label: Esoteric Antenna / Cherry Red Records
Release date: 30 October 2026
Following the earlier release of Miracle, White Knight is the second of three singles leading up to the new album, which will be released through Esoteric Antenna / Cherry Red Records.
Written by Greg Hart and drummer Steevi Bacon, with additional lyrics by lead vocalist Damien Edwards, the song continues the band’s approach to melodic, seventies-inspired classic rock.
The accompanying press material describes a combination of layered vocal harmonies, orchestral arrangements, prominent piano and powerful drums, alongside harmony guitars reminiscent of Thin Lizzy. Queen, ELO and Styx are also cited among the band’s musical reference points.
According to Bacon, White Knight is a song about resilience, refusing to surrender in difficult circumstances and standing by the people you love.
Due on 6 November 2026, ‘Suit of Armour’ marks the band’s seventh studio album and introduces two new musicians to their recording line-up. Bassist Chris Childs, known for his work with Thunder and Tyketto, joins alongside lead guitarist Sam Wood, who has played with Black Star Riders and Uriah Heep.
The album also features backing vocals from Julie “The Duchess” Maguire, while Damien Edwards continues as lead vocalist. Available on CD and classic black vinyl, ‘Suit of Armour’ features ten main tracks, with two additional bonus recordings listed for the CD edition.
