GRAMMY, CMA and ACM Award-winning country singer-songwriter Carly Pearce has officially announced her highly anticipated fifth studio album, Honest Woman. The album will be released on August 28 through BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and marks a return to the traditional country and bluegrass influences that first inspired her musical journey.
Alongside the announcement, Pearce has released the brand-new track “She Don’t”, showcasing once again her gift for storytelling and heartfelt songwriting. The song further highlights her signature blend of traditional country sounds with contemporary production.
Honest Woman was co-produced by Pearce and longtime collaborator Ben West. Throughout the album, Pearce embraces every chapter of her life with honest, narrative-driven lyrics while returning to the country and bluegrass roots that have always defined her artistry. The record also features guest appearances by Riley Green, Dan Tyminski, and Molly Tuttle, adding even more depth to an already impressive collection of songs.
Reflecting on the new album, Pearce explains that creating Honest Woman allowed her to reconnect with the reasons she fell in love with country music in the first place. Drawing inspiration from the classic country and bluegrass sounds that shaped her career, she describes the album as her strongest and most personal work to date.
In addition to the newly released “She Don’t”, the album includes previously released songs such as “Dream Come True,” “Church Girl,” “You Can Have Him,” and the current duet with Riley Green, “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay.”
To support the release, Carly Pearce will embark on her “Honest Woman: Up Close” residency tour across North America, beginning on September 10, performing intimate two-night engagements in several major cities.
