Misty Blues and leadsinger, Gina Coleman, celebrate 23 years of composing and performing original blues with hints of jazz, funk, soul and tent revival gospel.
Misty Blues has recorded and shared the stage with Joe Louis Walker and Charles Neville. They have also opened for traditional & contemporary bluesartists like Tab Benoit, John Primer, Roomful Of Blues, Albert Cummings and Michael Powers. In 2019 the band became a finalist in the International Blues Challenge. “Been A Long Time Coming(feat. Eric Gales)” is an early single from their 12th album, which will be released on March 31, 2023.
Been A LongTime Coming (feat. Eric Gales) is the band’s second release under the Guitar One Record label and marks their first collaboration with Executive Producer Marc Swersky. The song was co-written by Misty Blues leadsinger, Gina Coleman, and Ed Moran. It speaks to Coleman’s nearly 25 years as a bluesartist and the band’s recent designation as an up and comer.
