Neal Morse & The Resonance – River of Light
Format: CD / Vinyl / Digital
Label: InsideOutMusic / Radiant Records
Release date: November 27, 2026
Following their 2024 debut, No Hill For A Climber, Neal Morse & The Resonance continue their progressive rock journey with a new album built around spiritual themes and the creative input of the entire band.
The concept album draws inspiration from Terah, the biblical father of Abraham. According to Morse, Terah represents someone who begins a journey with God but allows sadness and resignation to prevent him from completing it. His son, by contrast, finishes the journey.
Morse says the project developed from ideas the musicians began discussing in October 2025, following successful live performances during the summer of that year. The abundance of material initially raised the possibility of a double album, but the band eventually shaped it into a single release.
Guitarist Andre Madatian and vocalist Jonny Bisaha play important roles in the collaborative process. Morse also points to the influence of Rush and 1990s rock on the younger musicians, which brings additional perspectives to the band’s progressive rock sound.
The album will be available as a limited 2CD digipak, including a second disc of instrumental versions, a standard CD jewel case edition and a digital album.
