Alastair Greene Releases Remastered Single People
American blues-rock guitarist and singer Alastair Greene has released People (2026 Remastered Version) through Ruf Records on October 9, 2026. The single offers an advance look at the remastered deluxe edition of his album ‘Trouble at Your Door’, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026.
Originally released in 2014, ‘Trouble at Your Door’ is returning in an expanded edition, bringing renewed attention to an earlier chapter of Greene’s recording career.
A Slide Guitar Tribute To Rory Gallagher’s Influence
People is built around a slide guitar riff inspired by the late Irish blues-rock guitarist Rory Gallagher. The song reflects Greene’s connection to the blues-rock tradition, combining guitar-driven music with lyrics centred on resilience and hope.
Its message focuses on maintaining a positive outlook during difficult times, a theme that gives the song a personal dimension alongside its blues-rock foundations.
Trouble at Your Door Returns In November
The forthcoming deluxe edition of ‘Trouble at Your Door’ will be released by Ruf Records on November 13, 2026. The reissue features remastered material from the original album, along with additional recordings.
With People, Greene introduces the reissue while revisiting a song he considers one of his personal favourites from the album.
