Raised in Southern California, Wyatt Lowe developed an interest in music at an early age. His family’s BBQ and blues restaurant, Chappy’s Roadhouse, introduced him to the region’s blues scene, and he released his first record at thirteen. Two years later, he was already touring with his band.
During his early career, Lowe shared the stage with musicians including B.B. King and Anson Funderburgh. A subsequent move to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, brought further musical development. There, he formed The Mayhem Kings and expanded his sound beyond traditional blues, incorporating elements of rock, country and Americana.
On ‘Deserts’, Lowe continues exploring the musical territory between American roots traditions and contemporary songwriting. The album contains ten tracks, including Dreamin’, The Road Back to You, Lonesome and Never Ending Love.
The title track, Deserts, was inspired by the image of a desert landscape during a heavy rainstorm. Other selections include One Way, If I Could and the extended version of Stay.
With his background in blues and his growing connection to country and Americana, Lowe continues to build on the musical influences that have shaped his career. ‘Deserts’ is available on vinyl, CD and digital platforms.
