American singer-songwriter Schaefer Llana will release her debut album, Full Circle, on November 13 via Strolling Bones Records. Raised in Mississippi, Llana blends alt-Americana, indie folk and southern roots into a sound that is both intimate and distinctive.
After years performing as a musician and backing vocalist for artists including Jimbo Mathus and Kevin Russell (Shinyribs), Llana now steps into the spotlight with a collection of deeply personal songs that balance poetic storytelling with warm, organic arrangements.
Recorded in Mississippi with a close-knit group of musicians, Full Circle reflects both Llana’s southern roots and her thoughtful approach to songwriting. While echoes of artists such as Sharon Van Etten, Karen Dalton and Judee Sill can be heard throughout the album, Llana establishes a musical identity that is unmistakably her own.
