Sally Jaye will release her fourth solo studio album, ‘You’ll Be Okay, Baby’, on October 2 via Mule Kick Records.
‘You’ll Be Okay, Baby’ contains ten new songs written around experiences from different periods in Jaye’s life. The album was produced by Brent Cobb and Ted Pecchio, with recording work taking place in Macon, Georgia, and at The Studio in Nashville.
Jaye began performing in coffeehouses and bars in Georgia before moving to Nashville to study at Belmont University. She later relocated to California, where she combined music with acting, before eventually returning to Nashville.
Her previous album ‘Amarillo’, released in 2006, developed a following among Americana listeners. Songs written by Jaye have also been recorded by artists including Brent Cobb, Leah Blevins and Shannon McNally.
The album’s third single, Your Brother’s on the News Again, was released on August 28 through Mule Kick Records. The track features Brook Sutton on tuba.
In 2025, Jaye was selected as an artist-in-residence at Georgia College in Milledgeville. The residency coincided with the centenary of writer Flannery O’Connor, an important influence on Jaye’s storytelling.
‘You’ll Be Okay, Baby’ will be released on CD, vinyl and digitally on October 2, 2026.
