American singer-songwriter Randy Lee Riviere will release his new album ‘New Blue Mexico’ on October 23, 2026, through Wilderness Records. Recorded in Nashville, the album brings together blues, Americana, country and roots rock, reflecting his longstanding connection to the landscapes and musical traditions of the American West.

For this fifteen-track release, Riviere reunites with Grammy-winning producer, songwriter and drummer Tom Hambridge. Their third album together features experienced Nashville musicians, including Bob Britt, Mike Rojas, Robert Kearns, Michael Saint-Leon and Tommy Macdonald.

Riviere draws inspiration from personal experiences, the natural environment and the lives of working people. His background as a wildlife biologist, military veteran and long-distance truck driver has helped shape a songwriting style concerned with both human experiences and the changing American landscape.

Songs such as Traveling Pastor, Jersey Girl, Buffalo Blues and My Old Man are among the tracks highlighted for the new release. The album follows earlier recordings including ‘Wyoming‘, ‘Blues Sky’, ‘Concrete Blues’ and ‘Farmhand Blues’.

Recorded at SoulTrain Studio and The Switchyard in Nashville, ‘New Blue Mexico’ continues Riviere’s collaboration with Hambridge while bringing his blues and roots influences together in a collection of original material.
