Greek guitarist, songwriter and producer Dimitris Loizos will release his debut album ‘Troubled Soul’ on 5 November 2026 via Yellow Kiwi Records.
Loizos, who is based in London, combines blues guitar with ambient textures, spacious production and atmospheric sounds. The album was written during a period of major personal change, as he prepared to leave London after seven years and return to his hometown of Athens.
‘Troubled Soul’ explores themes of self-doubt, healing, loneliness, self-love and personal growth. The album brings together blues-inspired guitar playing with more cinematic and ambient elements, drawing on influences including Pink Floyd, B.B. King, Gary Moore and RY X.
Loizos wrote, produced and mixed the album himself and performs guitars, bass, synths and vocals. He is joined by Petros Kaloritis on keys, Marco Rovinelli on drums and Elliot Kempton on violin, viola and cello. Mastering was handled by André Castro.
The album follows two EPs and 17 singles released since Loizos began his solo project in 2021. His music has since built an international online audience, with more than 215,000 monthly Spotify listeners, 210,000 TikTok followers, 135,000 Instagram followers and 52,000 YouTube subscribers.
