Release date: February 26, 2027
Blondie will release ‘High Noon’, their twelfth studio album, on February 26, 2027, via BMG, featuring the final studio recordings of drummer Clem Burke.
The new album marks Blondie’s first studio release since Pollinator (2017). The New York band, formed in 1974, built an international reputation by combining punk, new wave, pop, rock and disco. Their best-known songs include Heart of Glass, Call Me and The Tide Is High.
According to vocalist Debbie Harry, ‘High Noon’ brings together influences from different periods of the band’s career while reflecting their lives today. The album includes contributions from guitarist Johnny Marr, bassist Glen Matlock, Zach Condon of Beirut, and Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius.
John Congleton, who also worked on Pollinator, produced the album, with additional production and mixing by David Wrench.
The album has particular significance as it features the final studio recordings of longtime drummer Clem Burke, who died in April 2025 at the age of 70. Burke was a central figure in Blondie’s sound throughout much of the band’s career.
The first single, Spectral Eyes, is already available. ‘High Noon’ will be released on CD, black vinyl LP and clear vinyl LP.
