New Single: Jack’s Maze – The Edge

Jack’s Maze’s new single The Edge is the second track released from their forthcoming studio album ‘Once In A Blue Moon’, due in January 2027 via RPM Entertainment.

New Jersey rock veterans Jack’s Maze return with The Edge, the second single from their forthcoming album ‘Once In A Blue Moon’, scheduled for release in January 2027 through RPM Entertainment. Following September’s Let It Go, the new song takes a more personal direction, drawing on the band’s own experiences of losing friends and fellow musicians.

Vocalist Frank Cinquegrana wrote The Edge following the sudden passing of guitarist Bill Snyder. While developing the song, he also reflected on the loss of former guitarist Jimmy Gentilin. The lyrics address grief, unanswered questions and the painful realization that opportunities to reach out to someone can be lost forever.

Musically, Jack’s Maze draws on classic and progressive rock traditions, with influences including Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rush and early Genesis. The single combines this musical background with a deeply personal subject.

Formed in 1989, Jack’s Maze originally performed as Laughing Jack before establishing themselves on the New York tri-state rock scene. Their debut album, ‘Life In The Maze’, was recorded in 1993 but remained unreleased until 2024, following the band’s reunion in 2021.

The Edge was recorded at Baa Baa Leaf Studio in Milford, Pennsylvania, with keyboardist Robin Ross handling production and mixing alongside supervising engineer Jonathan Duckett.

The single is available on digital platforms and offers another introduction to ‘Once In A Blue Moon’, the band’s second album.
