Bruce Dickinson has released a new official video for Change Of Heart (Reimagined Version), a track taken from his 2025 album ‘More Balls To Picasso’. Filmed in São Paulo, the video forms a companion piece to the earlier visual treatment of ‘Tears Of The Dragon‘.
The reimagined version revisits a song originally included on Dickinson’s 1994 solo album ‘Balls To Picasso’. For ‘More Balls To Picasso’, the material was remixed and newly mastered, while selected parts were re-recorded to bring the album closer to Dickinson’s original vision.
The video was filmed in September 2025, when Dickinson worked with directors Leo Liberti and Antoine de Montremy in São Paulo. He performs in an abandoned urban space, accompanied by guitarist Philip Näslund, while a separate narrative explores deterioration, suffering and renewal.
People from different cultural backgrounds appear throughout the film, depicting a society in which individuals can become distracted from the suffering around them. A child carrying William Blake’s painting The Good and Evil Angels provides a recurring visual thread.
Dickinson explains that the painting was deliberately chosen because Blake’s work frequently addressed tensions between innocence and experience, freedom and spiritual enslavement, and consciousness and alienation.
“The child embodies that primal awareness, capable of seeing what adults have learned to ignore,” Dickinson says.
The video extends themes already present in the song while giving the reimagined arrangement from More Balls To Picasso its own visual identity.
