The Hurricane Party will release ‘Storms’ on October 23, 2026. The album contains twelve tracks, including ten originals and two covers, and reflects the band’s broad musical interests while remaining firmly rooted in the blues.
The material moves across funk, rock, blues, boogie, soul and gospel. Among the special guests are legendary drummer Bernard Purdie, who plays on Throwin’ Good Love After Bad, and European blues musician Giles Robson, who contributes harmonica to Have The Pie. The album also features contributions from several other guest musicians.
The songs on ‘Storms’ were written by vocalist Rocky Pleasants and songwriter Rob Marlowe, with the exception of three tracks. The album follows the band’s debut ‘Cat 2’, which received radio play in several countries.
