The Dutch band has built a strong reputation through energetic performances at festivals including Graspop, Sziget, Wacken, Pinkpop, Vainstream and Jera On Air. The group has also sold out Amsterdam’s Melkweg and founded its own punk rock festival, Coffey Fest.
With ‘Not Alone’, John Coffey focuses on the power of human connection. The album explores the importance of finding people who understand what you are going through, whether that connection comes through friendship, a relationship, a helpline or simply sharing music with others.
The band also continues to use its platform to address social justice and political issues. Musically, ‘Not Alone’ continues John Coffey’s connection between heavy rock ‘n’ roll and an outspoken, socially engaged approach.
