Catfish – Time To Fly
The final Catfish album ‘Time to Fly’ is now available on presale. This is a tribute to Matt who passed away in October 2024. We are lucky to have enough recorded material of his playing on the new material to make this album, along with new songs found on his computer and phone
This album has come together as a tapestry of pieces retrieved from various unexpected places – some tracks recorded before Matt was too poorly to play, two demos of new songs from Matt’s computer and even a half written song in a voice note on Matt’s phone.
Paul has used his considerable skills as a recording engineer to bring everything together into an incredible set of tracks, many of which have never been performed live, which will become Catfish’s final album, and a tribute to Matt.
The cover art was created by the talented Alice Armstrong, and there will be a special edition T shirt available with a similar design.
We are doing a pre-sale to help us cover the cost of pressing. This is now live on the Catfish website via the link below. In addition to the CD and vinyl there will be a specially designed t shirt, and if you want both there is a bundle option with T shirt and either cd or vinyl.
We expect the album to be released in March/April but please be aware that the vinyl may be a little later as the lead time is longer.
