Blues Caravan 2026 Announces European Tour Including the Netherlands
One of Europe’s longest-running blues touring concepts is set to return this autumn as Blues Caravan 2026 embarks on another extensive journey across the continent. Organized by Ruf Records, this year’s edition brings together three outstanding guitar talents from the United States and France for a unique evening celebrating modern blues and blues-rock.
Headlining this year’s tour are Laura Chavez (USA), Matthew Curry (USA) and Elise Frank (France), each representing a different generation and style within today’s blues scene.
Laura Chavez has earned international recognition as one of the finest blues guitarists of her generation. Winner of the 2023 Blues Music Award for Best Instrumentalist – Guitar, she is widely known for her work with Candye Kane and Nikki Hill and continues to impress audiences with her soulful playing and unmistakable tone.
Matthew Curry has built a strong reputation with his energetic blend of blues, rock and Americana. The talented guitarist and vocalist has already shared the stage with legendary artists including Peter Frampton and the Steve Miller Band, establishing himself as one of the most exciting young performers on the American blues circuit.
Representing Europe is French guitarist and singer Elise Frank, who has been attracting increasing attention with her band FRANK. Her powerful performances and fresh approach to contemporary blues have quickly made her one of the genre’s rising stars.
Backing the three artists throughout the tour are Denis Palatin on drums, Tomek Germann on bass and Léa Worms on keyboards.
As always, the Blues Caravan follows its successful and much-loved format. Each artist performs an individual set, showcasing their own songs and style, before all three musicians join forces for an unforgettable finale jam session. The result is an evening filled with exceptional musicianship, spontaneous collaborations and the unmistakable spirit of the blues.
The 2026 tour will visit Denmark, Norway, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and the Netherlands. Dutch blues fans will have the opportunity to experience the show on 3 October, when the Blues Caravan arrives at the Assen Blues Festival.
