Indiana-born and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Stephen Wilson Jr. released Son of Dad on September 15, 2023, through Big Loud Records. The 22-track double album was dedicated to his father and became the foundation of Wilson Jr.’s breakthrough as a recording artist.
Released on September 15, 2026, ‘Cørnerman’ marks the eight-year anniversary of his father’s passing. The song is presented as a personal tribute and connects directly with the themes that have surrounded Søn of Dad since its release.
Wilson Jr. has continued to release new music in 2026, including Hardwired with Miranda Lambert, Gary (Live From CMA Fest 2026) and Preacher’s Kid. He is also currently on his Gary The Torch Tour, with dates across the United States and Europe/UK.
The artist has received four nominations for the 60th Annual CMA Awards: Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for Gary, as well as New Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.
