Michael Vdelli, formerly of VDELLI, returns with his first new recordings in five years. Known for his commanding voice, expressive guitar work, and emotionally fearless songwriting, Michael now begins a new chapter with what many close to the project consider his strongest and most fully realised work to date
He is joined by three exceptional young musicians who are rapidly forging their own reputation in the Perth rock scene:

Together, Michael Vdelli And The Art Of Dysfunction represent a rare convergence of experience, youth, and raw musical power. Their live performances have already been leaving audiences stunned, and these first recordings capture the intensity, chemistry, and emotional depth of the band.
The debut single, “Things Inside,” releasing April 11, 2026, is a bold modern rock statement — confronting the psychological noise, disconnection, and internal pressure of contemporary life. Driven by explosive guitars and a fearless vocal performance, it marks a decisive and uncompromising return.
This will be followed by a second single, “You And The Blues,” on May 5, 2026 — a deeply personal and cinematic blues piece exploring isolation, survival, and emotional reckoning. Where “Things Inside” delivers urgency and confrontation, “You And The Blues” reveals the stark vulnerability and hard-won clarity that lies beyond suffering.
These releases form the beginning of a larger body of work, with the band set to release a series of singles throughout 2026, culminating in a 10-song vinyl LP planned for early 2027.
