Single I Tobacco Road Blues Band – Dead To Rights

The Carinthian blues/blues rock formation Tobacco Road Blues Band
celebrates a small anniversary with the release of their 20th single “Dead To Rights”

The song brings the band back to their blues roots and tells the story of a man in a dim pub who succumbs to the seductions of a beautiful stranger, with which he in turn attracts the justified and infinite wrath of his better half. She catches him red handed and has him “dead to rights”.

Not only the classic man/woman theme of the lyrics contributes to the blues character of the song, but above all the guitar bottleneck solo by Peter Prammerdorfer as well as the blues harp played by Christian Dozzler, who is known as pianist of the legendary Mojo Blues Band.
