Guitarist Arne Skage is a veteran of the blues / roots / americana scene in Norway
As a sideman from Eriksen’s heyday to almost 30 years as blues king Reidar Larsen’s right hand man, Skage’s distinctive slide guitar has been heard on recordings and stages since 1990
In anticipation of the album “Procrastination Blues” coming this winter, Skage is now releasing the single “Dressed up to get messed up” which he has written together with Leslie Blackshears Smith.
The song is a sequel to the track “Gris Gris” which was released last year to great feedback.
The track is recorded in New Orleans LA. January 2020.
