About the single
“Suzy’s Home” is a song whose poignant lyrics tell a story of loss and the quiet aftermath of war for those left behind. The track is not a political statement, but a deeply cutting human portrait. David Ronaldo: “The song is about absence, waiting, and the harsh confrontation with reality when the realization sets in that nothing will ever be the same again.”
Musically, the band stays true to its essence, with David Ronaldo’s weathered voice carrying the story and the guitar riffs of the Verbinnen–Lekenne duo defining their Southern roots-rock and Americana vibe.
The lyrics were written by Els Marivoet, and the music is by David Ronaldo, Charly Verbinnen, and Dirk Lekenne.
