‘Tales Of Ordinary Madness’ – great title by the way – is the debut solo studio album by Warren Haynes and it was released in 1993. Now, thirty-two years later this fantastic album is re-released and remixed and again a must have album for fans of classic guitar blues rock, as this amazing album highlights the wonderful vocals and the intricate and soaring guitar picking of mister Southern Rock Warren Haynes indeed.

Ten of the eleven tracks on this album were written (music and lyrics) by Haynes, and the eleventh song, being Tattoos and Cigarettes was composed by Jeff Anders, Keith Flynn, and Haynes.

Highlights of this, even after thirty-two years, awesome album are the opening track Fire In The Kitchen ( a Mr. Big-like rocker indeed), Movers and Shakers (great guitar picking), Broken Promised Land and the longest song here called Blue Radio; the latter stands out due to the emotive and heartfelt vocals of Haynes.

Overall, ‘Tales of Ordinary Madness (2026 remix)’ is still a great album with a more than excellent improved sound; a true, pure classic rock album with lots of bluesy swagger; indeed, so play it LOUD.
