It was recorded live at analog-treff in Nuremberg, a place where music is still recorded the way it’s played.
Just six songs, but almost 40 minutes of the finest down-home blues, with room to breathe, groove, energy, and a touch of madness. You hear a band playing together in one room—not on separate tracks, but together. The result is pure blues with soul, sweat, and humor.
The recordings are taken from the original 1/4″ master tape and were cut at SST Brüggemann in Frankfurt. Pressed on 180g vinyl, this limited edition is available exclusively on vinyl – no digital version, no compromise. Just music as it truly sounds.
Big Creek Slim is widely considered a modern master of traditional blues, and this recording captures something rare: authority without nostalgia, authenticity without imitation.
