Release date: December 6, 2024
Colorado Blues artist, Grant Sabin, has joined forces with award winning songwriter and producer, A.J. Fullerton, for Sabin’s third studio album entitled ‘Work,’ set to release in December 2024
“Work” is a dynamic juke joint blues record which showcases Sabin’s deep pool of influences and inspiration, paying homage to predecessors like Robert Johnson, Mississippi Fred McDowell, and R.L. Burnside, as well as hat tips to Tom Waits, Morphine, and UGK. The songs take the listener for a ride through autobiographical tales of woe, fictional stories of crime and betrayal, road journalism and swamp poetry. While each track stands on its own, Fullerton’s raw grassroots production style gives the record a sense of unity, causing the listener to feel like they are hearing one band in one room performing live.
