Chambers DesLauriers embodies love, resilience, and the soul-stirring power of blues, rock, and soul. Fronted by dynamic duo Annika Chambers and Paul DesLauriers, the band blends raw emotion, powerful storytelling, and electrifying musicianship to deliver an unforgettable experience on stage and in the studio

Their love story began in 2018 with a moment straight out of a movie. At a packed music conference at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, the two locked eyes. Though life pulled them in different directions, fate reunited them a year later. What followed was a whirlwind romance, quick engagement, and marriage — and six years later, their bond continues to shine, both personally and musically.

Their upcoming album, ‘Our Time to Ride,’ produced by Eric Corne (John Mayall, Sugaray Rayford, Joe Louis Walker), was recorded at Studio MixArt in Montreal, with additional sessions in Los Angeles and Houston. The project captures the fire and freedom of Chambers DesLauriers — a fusion of deep blues roots, soulful R&B melodies, and gritty rock riffs, all layered with live energy and passion. The lead single, “Love You Just the Same,” is a blues-rock love letter, celebrating unwavering commitment through every high and low.

Annika Chambers, a Houston native, began her vocal journey in church and served 7 ½ years in the U.S. Army, where she completed two tours of duty. It was during her military service that she discovered the blues — a genre that would soon guide her career. Her debut, Making My Mark (2014), earned her a Blues Foundation nomination for Best New Artist. Since then, she’s released several acclaimed albums and earned three Blues Music Awards for Soul Blues Female Artist of the Year (2019, 2022, 2024), with a fourth nomination in 2025. Annika’s voice carries the depth of lived experience and the joy of musical liberation. “Every note I sing carries the weight of my journey,” she says.

Paul DesLauriers, hailing from Cornwall, Ontario, began playing music at five and gigging professionally by 15. A student of blues masters like B.B. King and Robert Johnson, Paul has developed a distinct voice as a guitarist and performer. His solo and band work has earned him six Maple Blues Awards, as well as runner-up at the International Blues Challenge in 2016. In 2018, Paul survived a traumatic brain injury, a life-altering event that only deepened his connection to music. “No matter what life throws at you, when you pick up a guitar, it reminds you who you are,” he shares.
