The Swampified American Roots Music of Lloyd Jones has traveled across the country throughout Europe and around the world before landing knee-deep into the heart and soul of Tennessee. The early years found Jones working with foundation greats like Earl King, Charlie Musselwhite, Big Mama Thorton and Albert Collins.
After recording nine of his own critically aclaimed albums featuring original songs covered by Gatemouth Brown, CoCo Montoya, Joe Louis Walker and Curtis Salgado, it’s thrilling to arrive in Nashville!
This special recording was inspired on the Delbert McClinton “Sandy Beaches” Cruise and brings together some of Music Citys mightiest players for this magnificent “Tennessee Run” of 14 songs by Lloyd Jones, including keyboardist/producer Kevin McKendree and special guests Delbert McClinton and Teresa James.
