Release date: October 16, 2026
British production trio Gotts Street Park return with ‘Somewhere Between’, released on October 16, 2026, through Play It Again Sam. Arriving three years after ‘On The Inside’, the new album marks a shift towards a warmer, more organic sound influenced by folk, Americana and classic songwriting.
While Gotts Street Park have established themselves through their distinctive production approach, ‘Somewhere Between’ draws inspiration from artists including Blaze Foley, Jessica Pratt, Big Thief and Neil Young. Early 1970s recordings also played an important role in shaping the musical atmosphere of the project.
The trio combine their analogue recording sensibilities with a more acoustic, song-oriented approach, bringing elements of contemporary soul and alternative music into the Americana-influenced arrangements.
Collaboration remains central to the Gotts Street Park sound. The album features contributions from Celeste, Matt Maltese, Rosie Lowe, Pip Millett, Sofia and the Antoinettes, anaiis and Olive Jones.
Rather than arriving with fully written songs, the guest singers developed their own lyrics in response to the music created by the trio. This collaborative process gives each vocalist an opportunity to contribute a personal perspective to the material.
Across eleven tracks, ‘Somewhere Between’ brings together the group’s production background and a renewed interest in traditional songwriting, reflecting a musical direction that moves comfortably between Americana, soul and alternative pop.
“Gotts Street Park are a Leeds-based production trio consisting of Josh Crocker, Tom Henry and Joe Harris.”
