Chilean-born, London-based guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Miguel Montalban has released Stoneburn, the new single from Miguel Montalban & The Southern Vultures. The track arrived on September 16, 2026, through the independent label Vultures Records.
Built around blues-influenced guitar work and a modern rock sound, Stoneburn explores the final stage of a relationship that has lost its emotional connection. The narrator realises that the former flame has disappeared and ultimately decides to walk away. The song focuses on detachment, acceptance and the difficult process of moving forward.
Montalban wrote, composed and produced the single, as well as handling the mixing. Eroc Ehrig mastered the recording. The line-up features Montalban on guitar and vocals, Florin Constantin Pascu on drums and Bruno Pint on bass. Recording credits include TYX Studios, Tyleyard Studios, Vultures Records, Miguel Montalban Studio and Paul Bessone.

Stoneburn is the first track to be released from a new Miguel Montalban & The Southern Vultures album planned for 2027. According to the band’s representative, neither an album title nor a provisional tracklist has been announced yet.
The single continues the group’s combination of blues-rooted guitar playing and contemporary hard rock. Montalban has developed that sound through studio releases and extensive touring across the United Kingdom and Europe.
The band will perform a co-headline concert with Garcia at The 100 Club in London on September 23, 2026.
