Canadian blues, soul, and rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Marcus Trummer is pleased to announce his new single “Holding Out For You”
“This song delves into the bittersweet emotions of “the one that got away,” says Trummer. “It captures the lingering reflections on a past relationship that, for one reason or another, couldn’t stand the test of time.”
Continues Trummer, “The lyrics explore the yearning for what could have been, underscoring the deep connection that once existed. Despite the heartache, there’s a faint glimmer of hope woven through the song—a belief that maybe, just maybe, circumstances will shift in the future, and the love that slipped through the cracks might find its way back. It’s a poignant tribute to love lost, but not entirely forgotten, with emotions that balance between nostalgia, regret, and quiet optimism.”
